Roovet Data exposes entity records in human-readable and machine-readable formats. The record page and the subject identifier serve different purposes.

== Stable identifiers ==
For example, [https://data.roovet.com/entity/Q9 https://data.roovet.com/entity/Q9] identifies the subject. Its human-readable record is [[Item:Q9]]. Do not use the Q identifier alone to match entities across unrelated Wikibase installations; identifiers are local to Roovet Data.

== Download a record ==
The entity toolbar links to the formats provided by Wikibase:

* [https://data.roovet.com/Special:EntityData/Q9.rdf RDF/XML for Q9]
* [https://data.roovet.com/Special:EntityData/Q9.ttl Turtle for Q9]
Replace Q9 with the identifier of the record you need. Properties use P identifiers. These exports contain the data recorded on the wiki; inspect references, qualifiers and ranks before reuse.

== API ==
Use the [https://data.roovet.com/api.php?action=help API documentation] to inspect supported Wikibase and MediaWiki modules. Entity searches use wbsearchentities; entity retrieval uses wbgetentities. Keep requests small and sequential, reuse responses when appropriate, and identify automated clients with a descriptive User-Agent.

Matching records link to [https://articles.roovet.com/ Roovet Articles] for narrative context. Their JSON-LD connects the subject identifier to the corresponding record and article without making the two documents duplicates.
